HJC’s Research & Development Centre is exclusively dedicated to creation, innovative research, and the high safety standards of helmets. More than 50 skilled people are taking part in the development of your future helmet. The choice of the resistance of materials, ergonomics, aerodynamics, comfort, and safety must meet the criteria and requirements before the decision on manufacturing of a new model.
HJC has 4 factories based in South Korea, North Korea, China, and Vietnam, which produce more than one Million helmets per year. Your helmet is hand-made by very skilled workers with over 40 steps in that process. The perfect logistics guarantees a reasonable price. The quality control ensures your satisfaction.
Every new HJC helmet design is tested in HJC’s own, state-of-the-art, 177 horsepower wind tunnel. Having their own hurricane-force wind tunnel lets HJC fine-tune each design for minimal lift, maximum stability, improved ventilation, reduced drag, and minimal vibration and noise.
While most current helmets are adapting general unsaturated polyester resin and common fiberglass – HJC are combining the highest levels of advanced materials. HJC’s Premium Integrated Matrix (PIM) shell consists of a strong blend of highly technical fabrics. This use of advanced quality composite materials produces extremely high impact absorption and exceptional lightness thanks to its strong and flexible twill woven reinforcement.
